2002 Modern Drummer Magazine Reader’s Poll Winners Announced - NewYorkDVD Titles Win First and Second Place.

Two of the recent titles authored by NewYorkDVD for Hudson Music have won 1st and 2nd place in the Modern Drummer 2002 reader’s poll awards. “Liquid Drum Theater - featuring Mike Portnoy” - is a double DVD set featuring in-studio performances with Mike, including Dream Theater and Liquid Tension Experiment songs. Some features included on this double disc set include multi-camera angle capability, commentary by Mike Portnoy, Photo Gallery, and Bonus Performance footage.

“Classic Drum Solos and Drum Battles” features many drums solos from great Jazz/Big Band drummers. This DVD features commentary by Peter Erskine (Steps Ahead, Weather Report, Steely Dan) - as well as Mac/PC weblink functionality.

Both of these titles were encoded and authored by Brian Brodeur utilizing Sonic Solutions DVD systems.
